FAQ

What is Jared?

Jared is the current leading MEV bot in the space. Active for quite some time, but collected most fame during the meme hype when Pepe was on it's hyperbolic trajectory. Jared from Subway made millions of $ running the MEV bot. Targeting sandwiches, arbitrage and JIT liquidity provision.

Even though we have tremendous respect for Jared's technical capabilities, it is our mission to compete and distribute the MEV to the people rather than single actors.

Sorry Jared, we're coming...

How is the mev bot earning money?

There are different types of MEV bots, ranging from Sandwich bots that spot orders in the mempool and place orders around it, to arbitrage and Just-In-Time bots. There is trading value in onchain data and the one able to spot opportunities the fastest plus acting upon these the most efficiently is able to get value.

Our first MEV product is scanning for incoming buys and sells and allows users to place orders around these.

Isn't that fraudulent?

There are mixed opinions on Sandwich bots being toxic or not. We firmly believe that we should level the playing field for all market participants and provide the MEV opportunity for all.

The Anti-MEV features out there are great and we encourage everyone to use those, especially the one on our roadmap. Meanwhile, our product also serves the Anti-MEV space. Thanks to our Recovery Fund we are able to collect funds for users that were targeted by the MEV our users utilize and offer them Recovery. These people would have been targeted by other MEVs anyway and we are competing with them to get the MEV into the broader public's hands and offer Recovery to the MEV'ed people.

Why not renounced?

We feel that renouncing actually would add risk to our project for not being able to call certain functions.

We would like to keep the option to change the taxes overtime when it benefits the ecosystem best, such as lowering taxes for promotional activities or when we see it would benefit user on-boarding.

There is a maximum tax threshold in the contract based on the launch taxes of 30% which we can never exceed.

Aside from that, the ability to change the marketing / dev wallet in case these would be compromised.

Most importantly, Contract unclogs would best be routed through our own custom Router contract and we need access to the unrenounced contract for that.

How do the taxes work?

On each swap transaction there is a certain percentage of ETH (buys) or Tokens (sells) deducted and collected in designated addresses. The Project/Development address and Ecosystem/Marketing address.

What kind of marketing?

Marketing that brings long term value in the ecosystem, is geared towards user onboarding and brand awareness. We do not believe in spending an exuberant amount of ETH to get a certain influencer to mention the project, unless we are certain it brings a net positive value to the project for ecosystem, user on-boarding and brand awareness.

Why do I need to give approval to the MEV bot?

To use the MEV bot contract you would need to select the tokens to allocate. These tokens will remain in your wallet and only leave it during a MEV opportunity. The tokens are returned within the same block.

The safety mechanic is that the MEV bot can only use the tokens from your wallet which you have personally approved to it.

Are my funds Safu?

The development team has a background in banking infrastructure and security standards. Before user on-boarding there will be thorough testing rounds and audits done.

Prior projects?

There have been projects that had the team's involvement. We do not believe in boasting with prior projects like some teams do, as it always brings up the thought "So why did you abandon that?"

The team has been building for months and very excited to share our tools with the community.

Why do you say XCEPT token is worthless on the website? The token has no intrinsic value and its sole purpose is to be utilized in our ecosystem.

We are building XCeption to become a strong ecosystem, not a glorified and hyped up security.
